An unusually fine tetradrachm from Damastion

ILLYRO-PAEONIAN REGION. Damastion (Dardania). Circa 365/0-350/45 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 13.29 g, 1 h), Kephisophon, magistrate. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΔΑΜΑΣΤΙΝΩΝ / KΗΦ[I] Tripod with legs ending in lion's feet and three handles, set on base. HGC 3.1, 86. May, Damastion, 64 (unlisted reverse die). Lightly toned and of unusually fine style for this often crude issue. Slightly granular and with minor flan faults, otherwise, good very fine.
